ONE GENERATION TO APPEAR ON THE INSPIRATION NETWORK!

Last year, One Generation competed in a national talent search competition sponsored by Family Christian Bookstores, Daywind Records, and the Inspiration Network.  The competition was broken into four different categories, each of which had a solo and group division.  One Generation competed in the Contemporary Group Category and won at two regional competitions securing them a spot in the finals in North Carolina in November of 2002.

Even though One Generation did not ultimately win the competition, they had a great experience.  Now you can catch their performance on television!  The Inspiration Network (INSP) will be broadcasting shows featuring the competition on Saturday nights at 9:30 p.m. Eastern time.  The Contemporary Group division will air on March 22nd and 29th.  One Generation's performance will be included on the March 29th show.

Jeff Cox Joins OG

One Generation is proud  to announce the selection of our newest  member.  Jeff Cox is joining OG as the  group's new baritone. Jeff is very  excited to be a part of One Generation's  growing ministry. He is a seasoned performer, having appeared on the stages of Cedar Point, Busch Gardens Williamsburg,  and the Fort Wayne Civic Theater as well  as several regional and national touring  groups. He was also a member of the Internationally recognized Ball State University  Singers. Jeff is thrilled to have the opportunity to praise God through a capella  music.  Look for his biography coming  soon!
OG Places Second at C.A.T.S.

OG Reaches Finals in National Competition

On August 17th, OG traveled to Delaware, OH to compete in the Semi-Final round of a national Christian Artist Talent Search (C.A.T.S.). They were blessed and humbled to place first in their division and win the opportunity to compete at the finals in September. The talent search competition is sponsored by Daywind Records and Family Christian Bookstores. All phases of the finalist competition will be nationally televised on INSP – The Inspirational Network.

Danny Miller Leaving OG

One Generation is sorry to announce that Danny Miller will be leaving the group in August of 2002.  Danny is moving to Chicago to attend Chiropractic school.  While we are very excited for Danny and this great opportunity, we are truly sad to be losing such an important part of our ministry.

Danny has been with OG since 1997.  He brought a real passion for performing to the group and is the brains behind the now infamous "Pizza Song".

"You Said Love" available at Anchor Room

Haven't had a chance to see OG in concert since their new album has come out?  Thanks to our good friends at the Anchor Room, you can pick up your copy of "You Said Love" or either of OG's other two albums any time Monday through Saturday.

OG's albums are featured in the "Local Artists" section of the music department.  You can even give the new album a listen before you buy it.

The long awaited release of OG's third album, "You Said Love", is finally here.  The album arrived last Saturday and is now available for shipping.  If you have preordered, you should be receiving your copy soon.  If you did not have a chance to preorder and would like a copy, you have two options.  

First, you can purchase your copy at one of OG's upcoming concerts.  Check the concert page for the latest information on upcoming concerts.  Your second option is to place a mail order.  Check out our mail order page for instructions on how to receive OG's albums through the mail.

"You Said Love" release date changed

Final touches are being put on OG's third CD, "You Said Love."  They guys have been working with the sound engineers to iron out some final details and they should be receiving the final product within the next month.  

Unfortunately, this means that the release date will be pushed back to late December.  If you have already reserved your copy, don't worry.  As soon as the new CD arrives, we will get those out to you right away.

If you have seen OG in concert recently, you have heard them perform several of their new songs.  While the title track has quickly become a crowd favorite, the entire album continues OG's mission to spread the word and love of Jesus through music.

OG finishes recording of "You Said Love"

OG returned to Fort Wayne today after spending a week in Paris, Tennessee.  After a long week in the studio, the guys have finished recording all of the tracks for their third album which is due out in December.

The album will consist of some concert favorites that have previously not been recorded as well as several newly written songs by Scott Miller, Jason Holliday, and Danny Miller.  Additionally, look for the hidden track at the end of the CD.

"You Said Love" will surely be OG's finest album to date.  Check back soon for information on preordering your copy through this web site.

OG to record third CD in late September

From September 17 - 22, OG will be recording their third album at a recording studio in Paris, Tennessee.  Their third release, "You Said Love," will be released to the public on December 1, 2001.

Preorders of the new CD will soon be available through this website so check back often.
